FAQ MENTORING / TUTORING

How can I participate in the mentoring program?

As a mentor: Would you like to give advice and guidance on your course of study, training, or career path? Then register here.

As a mentee: It's very easy! Go to the corresponding registration form and sign up. You will receive an email from us as soon as we have found a suitable mentor for you.

What is the process for the mentoring and tutoring program?

Please register as a mentor/tutor or tutee/mentee (young person). After you sign up as a tutor/mentor, we will have a personal interview with you to get to know you better and verify you as a person.

As soon as we have found a match, we will contact you and you are ready to go. In addition, our coordinators will regularly be available for both parties for open questions and suggestions and will also organize regular meetings for this purpose.

How can I participate in the tutoring program?

As a tutor: Do you have expertise in a particular school subject and want to give back? Then sign up here.

As a tutee: Go to the appropriate registration form and sign up with the subject in which you need tutoring. You will receive an email from us as soon as we have found a suitable tutor for you.

I have received an email that I have been matched. What happens now?

As a mentor/tutor, you should immediately write an email to your tutee/mentee and briefly introduce yourself. You should then arrange a time to meet and preferably set up a recurring appointment.

If you as a mentee/tutee have not received an email from your mentor/tutor, please take the initiative and contact him/her by email.

How often should we meet for mentoring?

Our recommendation here is to meet at least 1 time per month, and no more than 2 times per month. Nonetheless, everyone's needs vary and it makes sense that you decide this individually for your mentoring relationship.
